I'm Anna orange text

I’m a Midwest gal who found her home in Arkansas, and it was here that I saw a need for something special—a place where families, friends, and neighbors could gather over scratch-made, Southern-inspired breakfasts. Bentonville is a wonderful place, but I noticed it was missing one key thing: a warm, welcoming spot where guests could enjoy high-quality, made-from-scratch breakfast dishes, free from fast food and shortcuts. Just real, heartfelt food crafted with care.

That’s when the idea for The Buttered Biscuit was born. My husband and I wanted to create a place that felt like home, where every dish was made with love, and where the community could come together to enjoy breakfast at its finest. So, with a four-month-old baby and a dream, we rolled up our sleeves and set out to make that vision a reality.

We remodeled an old restaurant, worked late into the night developing our menu, and built a space where our mission could come to life. Despite the challenges, we pressed on—closing on the building and opening just 40 days later to a supportive and excited community.

Since then, we’ve been blessed to grow. Today, we proudly serve not just Bentonville, but the wider Northwest Arkansas community that welcomed us with open arms.

Our mission remains simple: to bring people together through great food and even greater company.

And we do that by staying true to our core values—Honesty, Ownership, Care, Positivity, and Excellence. At The Buttered Biscuit, we’re not just serving meals—we’re creating memories. From the moment you walk through our doors, you’ll feel it: the warmth, the sense of belonging, and the love that goes into every dish. Our menu blends Southern classics with our own creative twists, each one made from scratch with the finest ingredients. We start every day at 5 AM, baking our signature biscuits fresh, so when you take that first bite, it feels like a true taste of home.

This place was built with a simple mission: to offer a space where you can gather with friends, share stories, and savor food that’s made with care. Whether you’re here for a peaceful morning with a hot cup of coffee or a lively brunch with family and friends, you’ll always find a seat at our table—and always be treated like family.
