About This Location

Scratch-Made Comfort on Moberly Lane

Our Moberly location is where The Buttered Biscuit began. In 2017, Sam and Anna took a chance on an old restaurant building and transformed it into something special—a warm, welcoming space where scratch-made breakfasts and genuine hospitality could take center stage. With a lot of vision and a little elbow grease, they remodeled the space by hand, laying the foundation for everything The Buttered Biscuit would become. Moberly is more than our first location—it’s the heart of our story and the place that taught us what it means to serve a community with care, creativity, and a whole lot of biscuits.

We’re open daily, offering the comfort and familiarity of home. Whether you’re here for a relaxing breakfast or a special moment with loved ones, we’re dedicated to providing a memorable experience. If you need assistance or have any questions, our friendly team is here to help!

Visit us on Moberly Lane and indulge in the best breakfast in Bentonville. Don’t forget, you can also place your order online ahead of time for a quick pick-up if you’re on the go.

We met our son and his girlfriend here for breakfast. We arrived about 7:45 am and there were several tables open, by 8:30 am the place was packed and people were outside waiting.

We had lemon beneits, raspberry beneits, strawberry and cream cheese pancakes, southern Benny, the razorback sandwich and French toast sandwich. Portions were large and everything was very good. The service was good as well.

Great Place! Great Food! And Great Service!

Stopped here on the way Home from FL. It was like finding a hidden Gem. Our server was great and had great recommendations. The food was so delicious and the portions were perfect. The only problem is that we want to come back and this place is far away : ( and we can’t just go when we want. Thank You to the staff for a wonderful experience.

Food was amazing. Had the meat lovers scramble and a biscuit with honey. All the staff were super friendly. The biscuit was great! Will definitely come back when we move here.

SECTION 8: The Story Behind Moberly

Moberly is where it all started. In 2017, founders Sam and Anna took a chance on an old restaurant building on Moberly Lane and transformed it by hand — renovating the space themselves and building the foundation for what The Buttered Biscuit would become. It wasn’t a polished corporate launch; it was two people with a vision for scratch-made food and genuine hospitality, betting on Bentonville. That bet paid off. Moberly remains the heart of The Buttered Biscuit story.

Yes — The Buttered Biscuit is an Arkansas-grown, independently owned restaurant group. Started by Sam and Anna in Bentonville in 2017, it’s expanded to six locations across the state, all maintaining the same scratch-made kitchen and Southern hospitality ethos. No franchises. No shortcuts.

Six locations across Arkansas: two in Bentonville (Moberly and I-Street), one in Springdale, one in Fayetteville, and two in Little Rock (Promenade and The Heights).

The Moberly location is the original — opened in 2017 by founders Sam and Anna. Every other location grew from the foundation they built here.

SECTION 9: Compared to Other Locations

Both locations serve the same scratch-made menu with the same Southern hospitality. The main differences are location and vibe:

  • Moberly is the original location, closer to downtown Bentonville, Crystal Bridges, and the Bentonville Square. It’s the spot for visitors staying near the Square or heading to the museum. Opens at 6:00 AM on weekdays.
  • I-Street is closer to Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA) and the south side of Bentonville. Better if you’re arriving or departing by air, or staying near the airport corridor. Opens at 6:30 AM on weekdays.

The Moberly location is the closest to the Bentonville Square and downtown core. If you’re staying near the Square or visiting Crystal Bridges, Moberly is your location.

The Moberly location is the most convenient for Crystal Bridges visitors. It’s a short drive and a natural first stop before a morning at the museum.
