I can’t even put into words how amazing this place is. Every aspect of it is wonderful. The food taste absolutely delicious. The staff was awesome and on point, Eddie was our server and he was top notch! The coffee is to die for, especially the Triune Latte! I got the goat trail scramble and added chicken sausage and a side of the Cajun hollandaise sauce, it was out of this world! Definitely need one of these in our hometown of Ruston, LA! 😁

I am gluten intolerant and finding something on any menu is so hard for me. Literally almost everything on The Buttered Biscuits menu has a gluten free option. I was giddy just trying to choose an option. I had the chicken and waffles with bacon jam and I was in heaven.

The waiter staff was so engaging and friendly. Not only my waiter stopped by to check on me but two did. The manager also saw that I was eating gluten free and asked me how everything was and saw that I hadn’t ordered the biscuit but the waffle and he came back with a gf biscuit for me to take home for breakfast in the morning. Truly wonderful food, location, and staff. Please go try it. I’ll definitely be back.

Housed in a 100-year-old, beautifully restored building that’s full of the charm of yesteryear, this space brings warmth, flavor, and a touch of history to your brunch table.

One dish the locals rave about? The Kickin’ Chicken—our crispy, hand-breaded fried chicken perched atop of golden waffle, served with two perfectly cooked eggs and a side of sweet-and-savory bacon jam that ties the whole dish together. About This Location

Our Heights location opened in early 2025 — the newest of our six Arkansas locations and The Buttered Biscuit’s second location in Little Rock. We specifically sought out a space with history and character, and the century-old building on Kavanaugh Boulevard delivered exactly that. It’s been an immediate fit with a neighborhood that has high standards for its local businesses.

The Heights location is housed in a lovingly restored building that’s over 100 years old, one of the older commercial structures on Kavanaugh Boulevard. The space has been renovated with care to preserve its historical character while creating a warm, inviting dining room. Multiple guests have specifically mentioned the decor and atmosphere in their reviews: “stunning new decor and beautifully remodeled space,” “so stylish and inviting.” It’s a room worth being in, which is part of what makes a slow brunch here feel different from breakfast anywhere else.

Yes, the Buttered Biscuit is an Arkansas-grown, independently owned restaurant group founded in Bentonville in 2017 by Sam and Anna. No franchises. No national chain. Six locations across the state, all with the same commitment to scratch-made food and genuine hospitality. In a neighborhood that prizes local, independent businesses above almost everything else, we’re proud to be part of the fabric of Kavanaugh Boulevard.

Six locations across Arkansas: two in Bentonville (Moberly and I-Street), one in Springdale, one in Fayetteville, and two in Little Rock (The Heights on Kavanaugh and Promenade at Chenal).

Same scratch-made menu, same warmth and hospitality, completely different setting and character.

  • The Heights is a neighborhood restaurant in a century-old building on walkable Kavanaugh Boulevard — one of Little Rock’s most historic and characterful streets. It’s intimate, storied, and feels like it belongs to the neighborhood. Best for locals, neighborhood walkers, visitors wanting an authentic Little Rock experience, and anyone who values a dining space with genuine history.
  • The Promenade is at The Promenade at Chenal in West Little Rock — a modern open-air lifestyle center with expansive parking, the state’s only IMAX theater, and easy access to Pinnacle Mountain and the western part of the city. Best for West Little Rock residents, hotel guests in the Chenal corridor, and visitors to the west side.

Both are great. Which one is right for you depends on where you are and what kind of morning you want.
